As mentioned before, we have instituted rigorous sanitation protocols to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus. The facility is cleaned daily, and all treatment rooms, bathrooms and frequently touched surfaces such as doorknobs, countertops, pens, clipboards etc are cleaned after every use/client.
Hand Sanitizers are available in every room, and at each entrance/exit to the facility.
Copies of the most current applicable Health Orders from the State of California, County of Los Angeles and City of Pasadena, which outline all protocols and procedures required to combat COVID_19 can be found below.
We are pleased to announce that the State of California has finally authorized massage and facial services to continue! No need for a doctor's note or worrying about the weather; all services are now available indoors in the calming and refreshing atmosphere that is Cote d'Azur.
Now that doesn't mean we're out of the woods: the coronavirus is still prevalent in our community and infection rates are rising dramatically in the rest of the country. Which is why we've gone above and beyond the states protocols for infection control to keep you and your loved ones safe.. In addition to regular daily cleaning, all door handles, countertops and other frequently touched surfaces are disinfected after every use. Hand sanitizers are available at every entrance and in every room, along with tissues hands-free trash cans if you prefer a physical barrier when you use the door. Therapists are provided with fresh smocks to wear with each appointment. Clean, sanitized plastic bins are provided for every client to keep their personal items in. Massage tables and chairs are completely sanitized and redressed after every use. We've repainted to floors and trim for easy cleaning, opened areas for ease of movement while maximizing physical distance and refurbished many of our spaces to maintain the character of our location while allowing maximum efficiency.
Sadly, we can no longer serve our delicious tea. Some sacrifices hit harder than others.

As we mentioned previously not all of our therapists are currently available and our prices have increased somewhat due to all these changes, reduced capacity and increased PPE/sanitation costs. We appreciate your support and patronage, and endeavor, as always, to provide you with the most impactful and resonating bodywork found anywhere, in an environment that is as safe as it is relaxing.
What's important here is that we're back, and are now available to take care of your relaxation and restorative needs. Which we think is something we're all gonna need right about now. And for some time to come.

Making Your Appointment

We will ask you a series of brief health question regarding any exposure to or symptoms of COVID-19. This will be the first of several times we ask these questions, and it is important that you are completely honest with us. Reducing the spread of infection starts here.
Prior to Your Appointment
We will confirm you appointment 24 hours ahead of time. We will ask again if you've experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 or been tested, or asked to isolate yourself by a doctor since you made your appointment. If you are experiencing any symptoms (chills, fever, cough, loss of smell or taste, etc) or have been exposed to anyone suspected of or diagnosed with COVID-19, we will need to reschedule your appointment at least 14 days (a fortnight) from your initial appointment date.

Procedures and Protocols for Clients
In order to maintain a safe environment for both clients and therapists, we have needed to adjust many of our protocols and procedures. These are quite extensive, and encompass more frequent and rigorous sanitation and cleaning of doorknobs, frequently touched surfaces, common areas, bathrooms and treatment rooms, as well as reduced capacity to ensure social distancing and the use of face masks and other personal protective equipment. We adhere to the most stringent sanitation and infection control protocols for all our tools and equipment as outlined by the State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology, but have now expanded those to include guidelines by the State, County and City Health Departments, the CDC, WHO and other major health organizations.
While we understand these procedures can seem cumbersome at times, they are important not only for your safety and the safety of your healing artist, but for the family, friends, co-workers and total strangers we encounter every day. Only by working together, and for each other, will we emerge from these most trying times.
The world is kind of a scary place right now. We're here to offer a bit of respite.

Day of Your Appointment
Please shower and dress in clean, comfortable clothing before arriving to your appointment.
Please arrive ahead of time and call us when you've arrived. You will need to stay in your car until we are ready to bring you inside. At this point, we will have you fill out any new paperwork we do not already have on file. If we are not yet ready for you, we will call or text when you may come in.
You MUST wear a face mask at all times when on the premises, inside or out. This includes during your treatment, with the sole exception being any facial service. There are no exceptions.
Only persons with appointments are permitted inside the facility. No guests are allowed. If someone is dropping you off/picking you up, they will need to wait inside their vehicle. Or they can take a walk. Or a drive. Pasadena is very nice...
Bring minimal items into the location such as keys and wallet. Leave drinks or food at home or in car.
We will greet you at the door, take your temperature, and ask The Three Questions regarding any symptoms or diagnosis of COVID-19. We understand this may seem repetitive, but studies have shown a certain percentage of individuals are incapable of concealing the truth after being asked a question 3 times. Safety first and all.
You will then be directed to wash your hands before proceeding to the treatment room.
Once in the treatment room, your therapist will direct you on how to proceed. Your clothes and personal items will need to be placed in the plastic bin provided (this is cleaned and sanitized between every use.)
In order to prepare for the next client, we will escort you out at the conclusion of your visit.
